I ordered this macbook for my wife and the spec said it was a 2.3ghz intel i9. It arrived and its a 2.4ghz i9 which is a higher spec than advertised. It came with the latest sonoma osx installed, and its in absolutely pristine condition indeed. You could put a brand new one and this side by side and wouldn't be able to tell the difference. She moved from a 2012 MBP because newer photographic kit was stuggling to display on her old mac, so I did my research and settled for this model. I am not convinced completely my the M series cpu's at the minute, and to be fair I would be spending in excess of £3000 for a mac with the kind of spec in this 2019 model. Now to the controvercial bit, "overheating!" I set migration assistant up on this mac and her old one. It was running for 9hrs and the new model didn't even break a sweat, whilst the old mac was considerably warmer. After the transfer was complete, she downloaded her osmo pocket 3 footage and proceeded to edit it. She was working on it for around 5hrs and the fans didn't kick in once. I felt all around the keyboard and bezel area, to find it was only luke warm and there were no issues at all. The 16" screen is a total dream to work with and the retina display is divine. The keyboard is lovely to work with and my wife is one very happy bunny indeed. I fitted her a new gel case and bought her an external hard drive to download new footage, plus a usb c to standard usb converter to do backups to her old time machine drive. All in all this seller deserves a 10/10 for everything, and to add to this amazing package it comes with a full 12 month guarantee. Amazing! Thank you!
