These batteries are fantastic and the charger works well for both the original and Newer batteries. I've been using these in a Sony A7IV with firmware 3.00 for a few months now and I can't tell the difference between the original and Newer batteries in terms of performance and I've had no warnings about invalid batteries. There was a small manufacturing defect with the charger case but Newer customer service were amazing, no-nonsense sorted it out straight away and I had a perfect replacement in a couple of days. I'm really pleased with this item and with Newer generally, I've gone on to purchase a Newer camera bag, flash strobes, flash trigger and filter set because of the positive experience I had with their customer service and the batteries and case.
Overall I would highly recommend these for a Sony A7IV, they work great and are excellent value for money.
