This item was very disappointing. When it arrived, it was left in the garden in a bin liner, with the lid squashed inside. The lid therefore fits very badly. There weren't enough nuts and bolts to secure the feet so it is standing on bricks. The ventilation holes are really quite large, in the bottom and up the sides almost to the rim. We are using it (with great care) because of our current situation with non collection of garden rubbish. Under other circumstances we would have complained and asked for a refund.

The first time I received this product, it had 2 dents in it, presumably damaged in transit. I would have probably kept it except the screws to fit the legs did not align with the holes and did not align with the base. As a result it was not safe to use. I opted to have a replacement on condition the sellers checked that the screws did fit this time. They sent it with an assurance that it was fine this time. But it wasn't! One of the bottom nuts could not be fitted as there was no space to fit the nut. This would have been obvious if they had checked it as they said they had. I have kept it this time but it is not satisfactory. When I next need an incinerator I will go elsewhere!
