I use this scales for my online business, as I need to weigh products and boxes for couriers before sending them off. The scale platform isn't huge, but it can handle large items because it is very sturdy. I weigh boxes that are around 60 to 70cm square on the base, and it holds them up straight no problem. Just make sure to put on a hard, flat surface for accurate measurements (so, on a table or hard floor, not carpet). It is also very accurate (providing measurements with 4 decimal places) and goes for a long time without the need to change the batteries (I still haven't changed them after much use). Overall, a very good buy for a low price if you're running a small business.

As a little background which might help your decision; I bought this scale due to a Uniweigh scale not arriving on time, so I bought this with same day delivery 'just in case'. I'm glad I did because when the Uniweigh scale also arrived I inspected both and despite being slightly smaller, this has a higher max weight capacity and just feels better quality, with more solid feeling plastics. It also feels slightly heavier than that scale despite being slightly smaller.
To put it another way, one felt very 'domestic' use and the other (this one) feels a little more professional for more regular use.

The scale functions as you would hope and expect, has a brushed stainless top plate and solid black plastic case.
The readout display is clear, easy to read and operate and also feels solid enough.

The only negative so far is that the cable which attaches the control box is very short so if you were planning on putting the scale on the floor, you'll still have to bend right down to operate it. Not an issue for me but it might be for you.
A little gripe but it is quite small. Others on ��غ��, like the Uniweigh, are a little bigger but I place a piece of wood on top if I think a box or item might be a bit unstable. The compact size does of course make it easier to store away, so could be seen as a positive also.

Definitely recommended. I've only been using it for a few days but so far so good. I'll be sure to edit this review after a couple of months or if any issues arise...

I ship a lot of boxes overseas with my work, or varying sizes and weights, and working from home I've just been using the bathroom scales to weigh them but find that they just don't really weigh very accurately and you can never see the weight when the box is fully on it. Figured I'd get a proper scale to work with. This is REALLY small and I was rather worried it would not cope with my boxes. I plumped for this one rather than their large one as it says it does up to 50kg and that's more than enough for my needs. I like that the screen is separate and at the side so you can see what's going on. The cable is long enough for my needs. It was really tested this week when I had one 70x35x53 box to weigh... and I did wonder if I could get it to work as the box was very heavy and not particularly stable. Still, I managed to get it to teeter and balance enough to get a weight (27kg!). I know I wouldn't have got it on the bathroom scales as it wouldn't have been lifted off the floor enough. No idea on accuracy, but it's good enough for me to make an informed decision on weight for shipping. Can be used for letters and in the kitchen for baking etc, so it's quite multi use. Batteries were included.

Reason for purchasing is for mixing resin, and is accurate to 2g, so weights must be accurate otherwise resin will not cure correctly, well packed, unpacked and you have base unit, digital display, cable for connecting base with display, a usb mains cable and batteries for the display. simple set up, batteries into display, connect display to base. done. Turned on display, set to “0”” quickly, then weighed a bag of 1 kg bag of flour, and scales were bang on. The only issue i have is that delivery took 7 days and was an extra cost...And thats the only reason for 4 stars.
