All I have to compare this to is a genuine Krone-branded tool, as issued to BT engineers, of which this is a very poor copy. Ok it probably does the job of just pushing down wires but there is no noticeable impact when doing so. My professional tool pushes down and then there is a noticeable bang as the mechanism strikes the cable into place and cuts off the excess. With this one however, there is a click sound but I think that's just the cutting mechanism activating. There is no impact that I can feel when I press the end of the tool against my hand. It feels very light and cheap, and the end of it is quite bendy. I'm not very pleased with the product overall, it's of quite low quality in my opinion, although I've probably been spoiled by having a genuine Krone one to use for a while. I will add it to my kit as a spare, on standby in case my main one ever gets lost or broken on site. The wire stripper that's come with it will also come in handy so I'll add that to me kit too. It's only fair to mention that the genuine Krone/BT ones are hugely more expensive to buy than this product, so it's not really a fair comparison of course, but my general feeling about the tool is that it's of low quality.

What you see in their photos is what you get. Hubby asked me to order this, he said it will speed up tasks that he would normally have to phaff about with, he looked pleased when it arrived and went off to test it. Came back with a thumbs up. Price at the time of this review was £3.59
