Warning signs of Italy and Spain+Portugal-an easy trip to your holiday!

When do you need warning signs?

In Italy and Spain (+Portugal), the mandatory warning signs apply to all loads that protrude or protrude backwards, e.g. bicycle racks (even when the rear rack is folded!).
According to ADAC, the warning board obligation also applies to Portugal. Portugal has the same requirements as Spain. Therefore, you can use our warning boards for all three countries.
This applies to all camping vehicles, cranes, caravans or RVs.

In Spain and Portugal, the warning board shall:

In Italy, the warning board must:

TIPS (Guide)

When do you need two warning signs?

If the protruding load occupies the entire width of the vehicle longitudinally, two warning signs must be attached (see picture on the right). This applies to Italy and Spain (+Portugal).

How are the two warning signs to be installed?

The warning signs must form an inverted "V" with their stripes and must be placed transversely at the side end of the load (see picture on the right).

They say you get what you pay for, and that is true with this sign. Some are basically plastic board with reflectors fitted, this is not its aluminium with full reflecting built onto the metal. Works for two countries that require them but will be left on for the UK and France as well as its a good safety idea. Well made bit of kit that should last years.

First class item. Lot better that cheaper versions, made from aluminium with saftey edge rubber strip.
Bought this for our motorhome for visiting Spain and Italy.
It has chevrons on both sides relevant to each country as they are different.
Would buy again if needed but thus should last a while.

I ws dubious about how study this would be, but I was wrong. It it very good quality, the correct size and is very sturdy. I will have absolutely no worries about it flapping around on the bike carrier when I next drive to Spain. Really really pleased with this.

50 x 50 cm reflective (both sides) warning sign.

Parcel arrived on time. Flat packed into a larger over sized cardboard envelope. There was no damage to the shipping box but when I unwrapped the item from the clear zip plastic bag and removed it's plastic anti scratch lining, I noticed one of the corners was slightly creased, as if it had been dropped. I'd say because the shipping envelope allowed the item to slide around inside it sustained un-necessary damage due to poor packing. Yes, I've worked in the packing industry sending items all around the world, and this packaging whilst good wasn't correct for this type of item. Plus it had to foam guards on the corner, THUS this is exactly where the damage occurred. This isn't about the courier, as there was no damage to the outer cardboard sleeve, just badly packed. Please change, as it's not always best to simply go cheap!

Sign is nicely made with a rubber bumper around the edge, and a mounting point in each corner. Plus it's nice and reflective. The sign is also reasonably stiff, but it does flex.

NOT supplied with a storage bag, which is a big omission considering it's price point.

At the time of this review, £32.59 delivered, which seems OK until you realise there's a few of these on sale on ��غ��, with storage bags. This price is OK for one, but there's some better deals for what appears to be exactly the same article.

I am pleased with this, I got it for my tow bar bike rack and will even use it in the UK.
It is good quality, easy to attach, seems durable and the reflection on it really does work. It is also double sided which I was not expecting.

It is the size advertised, seems a bit bigger than I expected in real life ( a good thing)

The rubber edges mean it will not damage other items and the eyelets are big enough for a suitable cord/bungee hook.

Functional. I can recommend it, it does not seem to have any faults and does the job as intended.

I chose this because I wanted a warning sign for the back of my bike trailer. while I knew the intended purpose was for lorries travelling on Spanish or Italian roads, I didn't quite expect it to be so big.
Which is actually rather good because it really stands out.

I also like how it's really reflective ON both sides. Plus the rubber edging and reinforced holes means it's likely to last a very long time. I also found it's easy to clean as well, just give it a wipe with a damp rag.

Yes it's a little bit expensive for what it is. But it certainly gets you noticed. Plus if you were traveling overseas it could keep you on the right side of the powers that be.

I also thought it would make a great background for a piece of art. Something that would really nice in a garage or workshop.Something that could be easily achieved with a cricut machine and vinyl. Or you could glue on some card or paper and airbrush it.
