I recently ordered the Absolute Collagen Marine Liquid Collagen Supplement for Women in the new Mango & Mandarin flavour, which has 8000mg of hydrolysed collagen per sachet, this supplement is designed to support hair, nail, and skin health, making it a great addition to my daily routine.

What I love most about this supplement is the delicious taste, which complements my love for chocolate or cocoa drinks perfectly. Not only is it tasty, but it is also easy to use and convenient to carry with me to work or when I am out and about.

However, despite its many benefits, I have noticed that it may take 6-12 months of consistent intake to see anti-aging results, which could make it a bit expensive in the long run. Additionally, I have not been able to find any good manufacturer marks for high quality, which is a bit concerning.

This is a good product and I definitely notice a difference in my skin when I take it. However you used to get 28 or 30 in a pack for the same price, now it’s only 14, so effectively each sachet has doubled in price.

I’ve just started using the *Absolute Collagen Marine Liquid Collagen Supplement* in the new Mango & Mandarin flavour, so I’ll give my initial thoughts here and plan to update after the 14-day course is complete.

🌸 First Impressions: Taste & Texture

For a product marketed as Mango & Mandarin, I was expecting a stronger mango flavour—something vibrant and refreshing. Unfortunately, I found the taste a bit underwhelming. It wasn’t as sweet or fruity as I’d hoped, despite the description promising a “superior taste experience.”

Texture-wise, it’s incredibly thick, which suggests a high collagen concentration. I’m taking it straight, without diluting, and it does feel quite rich compared to other liquid collagen products I’ve tried, which were much runnier.

💧Collagen Content & Expectations

One standout feature here is the *8000mg of hydrolyzed collagen per sachet*. Many other products I’ve tried typically offer around 2,500-5,000 mg per serving, so this is definitely on the high end, which is great for anyone really focused on getting a hefty collagen boost for skin, hair, and nails. Arrived today, was not expecting such an awful taste, I've taken liquid collagen before so was not expecting this taste. It's made me feel sick, the texture also only makes this worse. I'm really not sure if I can take anymore. It's expensive to feel so nauseous. I'd love to return if I'm honest and go back to my original supplier. As don't think I want to feel sick before bed every night......
