Product description
Behold the latest offering from the enigmatic death metal outfit, Blood Incantation: a 12-inch maxi single featuring a brutal death metal track on Side A and an ethereal, cosmic composition on Side B, with a total runtime of nearly 20 minutes. On Side A, prepare to be annihilated by Blood Incantation's signature sound, with crushing riffs, thunderous drums, and guttural vocals that will transport you to the abyssal depths. This track will leave you convulsing in a frenzied, primal state. Side B takes a departure from their death metal fare and explore again a cosmic, ambient soundscape that will leave you mesmerized. With atmospheric synthesizers, haunting melodies, and otherworldly timbres, this composition will take you on a journey through the boundless expanse of space. This 12-inch maxi single is a must-have for any fan of extreme metal or avant-garde music. Whether you are a devoted follower of Blood Incantation or a curious listener, this release is certain to make an indelible impression. Available on 180g Vinyl (Discobag) with Matrix Engraving on Side A and Side B, as well as Digital Album.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 October 2024Definitely a big buzz about this album and having constantly listened to it since I got it I can understand why,yes it’s death metal but not as we know it,everyone who has heard it and if you go in reviews you’ll hear them say about the pink Floyd vibe in parts and yes it’s there in abundance but it’s first and foremost death metal with a twist, from start to finish and in my opinion that’s the way you should listen to the album it grabs you and doesn’t let go until the final note, not for a long time has death metal been turned on its head and given a fresh feeling to the genre, please get this album and I guarantee you’ll get the fizz,I’m now at the ripe old age of 51 and I’ve listened to death metal since it began all those years ago with the likes of possessed and death and believe me I’ve been into that style of music without wavering because of my elder years hahaha and blood incantation are putting the fizz back into death metal, buy it,love it and you can thank me later hahaha hopefully they’ll hit the Emerald Isle so I can see it live

Images in this review - Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 December 2024It has thrash metal. bits that sound like Pink Floyd and other sections like the Moody Blues and it works well. One of the best albums of the year.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 November 2024I could waffle on for hours about how good this album is, but I'll keep it short and sweet, and say if you ever wondered what Pink Floyd would sound like if they recorded a Death metal album, well wonder no more! Absolutely stunning work of art imo, and gonna be hard to top in 2024!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 October 2024You don't get too many metal albums like this one. The so called "Cosmic Death Metal" genre is not the biggest, after all, but if it can bring up albums like this one, then it has plenty to offer.
Not often you hear an extreme metal album that spends half it's time sounding like Pink Floyd, Eloy or Ozric Tentacles, but that's what this one does.
One thing that strikes you is that these guys are top musicians. To do all these different styles so convincingly is very impressive.
Though that doesn't help if you don't have the songs, and these guys do. Essentially one long song on each side, they never get dull or self-indulgent, the interest is always there.
Definitely a worthy purchase for the more open-minded and experimental prog fan.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 November 2024One of the best metal albums released in the last decade. Melds death metal with Pink Floyd-esque prog sections and guitar solos perfectly. Well mastered and great sounding record for any collection!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 November 2024What an album. Perfectly fuses death and prog. There’s some great keyboard work in here too with flecks of pink Floyd, blade runner and war of the worlds. Love it. Could be my favourite album of 2024. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 October 2024I rarely listen to Death Metal anymore as I find it a bit boring these days (I far prefer Black Metal), but I've been a fan of Blood Incantation for a while, so I like to keep up with them and I'm glad I did, because this albums is excellent! It mixes Death Metal with prog style ambient moments and the result is what you'd get if Pink Floyed suddenly went Death metal. Excellent work all around!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 October 2024Possibly the greatest album released this year. It shows Blood Incantation at there strongest mixing there various influences in kaleidoscope of psychedelic progressive brutality.

5.0 out of 5 stars MAJESTUEUX ET INNOVANT!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolut meisterhaft

5.0 out of 5 stars Un voyage cosmique
