It is easy to wrap around an object and adjust it so that it fits right to be able to get a good grip to move it.

The only real grump I have is that I don’t know how long it will last as I can already see some of the threads wearing.

I ordered these as I liked the idea. We handle a lot of boxes of all shapes and sizes in our factory and I have manual handling constantly in the back of my mind.

The lifting straps are well made and the quality feels very good.
The handles are made of smooth plastic which is thick and easy to grip and the straps are made from very hard wearing nylon capable of lifting weights higher than a single person should be lifting.
The strap length is adjustable so that it can be made to fit most box sizes.

I was keen to try this out on the classic office box......the A4 printer paper. Most people lift these by the nylon banding straps that hold them together but after seeing the mess that these can make of peoples fingers in a recent manual handling training session I thought I'd try these lifting aids.

Firstly you have to adjust the strap length so it fits the box tightly and leaves just a short length between the handles and the box as I found to much length allows the box to swing too much.
Once you have the right length you then have to find the centre of gravity of the box so you can put the strap in the right place to keep it stable while being carried.
When I carried a box through the office it was comfortable and easy to do.

This is where I could see the drawbacks of these carrying straps, by the time you've done all the adjustments you could've picked up the box and got to where you're going with it with time to spare.
These would be best suited to one type of box/load (the mattress picture is a good example) as the faff of constantly adjusting the strap makes them frustrating to use for non-standard boxes etc.

The picture of an FLT using these as a lifting strop fills me with dread as anyone who uses this type of lifting equipment will know that lifting strops have to be made to defined standards and must undergo a 'thorough inspection' by a competent person under the UK's LOLER regs. I don't think these would pass an inspection, especially the handles.

Verdict: Good idea and in certain applications a good tool to help with manual handling but they could add time to work if the items being lifted vary in size or shape.

Very rarely do cardboard boxes have handles and these provide just that. They're comfortable to hold with no hard edges digging into my hands. When two are used and the item is carried between two people, the weight distribution is far better than awkwardly struggling. The straps don't slip on cardboard either, unless the box is being carried at an angle e.g. going upstairs. In which case, I found it best to hold the strap lower down to keep it level. Probably better still, shorten it. They're easy enough to adjust too.

I've also used them on bags for life that have been filled with old books. It's saved my bags from the strain of the heavy weight and allowed me to move them about with easy. Finally, because I can get a much better grip and I'm not having to pick a box up from the bottom, I'd say it's far better for my back. The last thing I need is an injury and if I can prevent that from happening, I will.

Manche Pakete oder Objekte kann man nicht recht greifen. Mit diesen praktischen Tragegurten wird der Transport von schweren Gegenständene erleichtert. Natürlich muss man sich trotzdem anstrengen aber die Unfallgefahr ist geringer und man kommt besser vorran. Die Transportgurte halten auch viel aus. Das Objekt, was ich tragen wollte war zwar nicht für die Gurte geeignet aber es zu tragen war möglich. Man kann auch die Länge der Gurte einstellen. Euer Rücken wird's euch danken!

Das Produkt wurde uns kostenfrei zum Test zur Verfügung gestellt. Der Preis zum Testzeitpunkt lag bei 16Euro. Nach der Flut im Ahrtal 2021 dauert der Wiederaufbau und die Einrichtung weiterhin an. Es gibt unglaublich viel, was getragen werden muss, von den Baumaterialien bis zu den Möbelkartons, aber extrem unhandlich ist. Mit Hilfe dieser beiden Transportgurte, die sich von ca 100 bis 170cm verstellen lassen und jeder bis zu 300kg tragen kann (laut Angabe), kann man sich das Leben deutlich vereinfachen.

Die Tragegurte wirken aufgrund der Plastikgriffe etwas minderwertig und stinken beim Auspacken. Auch nach Tagen ist der Geruch noch nicht weg.
Mittelgroße, symmetrische Pakete lassen sich damit gut tragen.

Bestellt um sperrige Kartons einfacher handhaben zu können - das klappt einwandfrei. So rutsche ich nicht immer ständig ab und verliere den Halt und den Karton....

- wirklich stabil verarbeitet
- keine scharfen Kanten am Kunststoff
- Platz genug: Griff ist innen 11 cm breit

Die Längen-Verstellung hält sicher (habe mich mit 78 kg auf den Gurt neben der Verstellung gestellt und beidseitig kräftig gezogen - es bewegte sich nichts.
