This cover arrives in a resealable plastic storage bag. While designed for covering a weight bench it also can work with other equipment. Such as small exercise bikes, but also workbench tools such as bench drills or bandsaws.

So it's a very useful cover, though as it's made from 600D Oxford fabric it's got some good and bad points.
To understand why, you need to know that the D stands for the denier of the fabric. Which here is 2 X 600 denier polyester yarns sewn together and that's a good thing.

Mainly because 600D is a lot thicker, more durable and stronger than the 300D Oxford fabric used in some covers. Hence this one is going to last a while, being especially resistant to abrasion and scratching.
Which can be handy if your pets like using covers as climbing frames and claw sharpeners.

However, regardless of density, all Oxford style fabrics have some issues. Primarily it's not a waterproof material, it's water resistant.So, as other reviewers note, if you use this to cover up outside gym equipment, your equipment will get wet when it rains.

Related to this is breathability, the ability of a fabric to allow moisture "out". Something that Oxford fabric doesn't do very well. So, much like a cheap hiking coat, whatever under the fabric will 'sweat'.

Which means anything made from rubber, leather or cloth can smell and go mouldy quicker.
Plus anything made from metal could rust faster. However, in fairness, the seller has attempted to address this by including ventilation holes.

Though that's not to say this cover is useless. One positive of Oxford fabric is it's very tightly weaved, often a lot more than cheapo tarpolines. Which makes it great for defending against dust.

Overall? If you want something to defeat dust and keep your kit nice and clean indoors, this is just right.
But it's not that suitable for outdoor use or in damp moist environments.

PACKAGING: Clear cellophane bag with a bar code label on the front.

PRODUCT: Adjustable weight bench cover.

FUNCTION: The cover came in its own nylon zip seal storage bag. The cover is made from quite a thin, single layer of material, which has a silver coloured underside and double stitched seams. It has a draw cord around the bottom that can be pulled tight to secure around the bench. It has two stitched on handles but I can't really see the purpose of these.

The size was a tiny bit big for my workout bench, but better too big than too small. We have had a full day of very heavy rainfall and the cover failed to keep the bench dry. So I am disappointed.

At the time of this review the cover was £20.99. It is not waterproof as advertised so I am not able to recommend.
