I use this every day with my 1 1/2 old springer who loves to chase everything that moves. It’s a great toy because it wears him out in about 10 mins so I can go to uni and not worry about his exercise for the day. He goes crazy when he sees it,, it makes us both super happy to be fair.

If you are also worrying about if this will hold your dog, my 23 kg (50 lbs) springer manages to gain some air time and tug it to the ground and the stick hasn’t snapped so I’d say this would be ok for bigger dogs too!

Pole and attachments are too short, pole only extends once so there’s not enough distance between you and the dog, defeating the purpose as I feel like I can’t use to its full potential and give my dog a good run at the same time. But pros are in the high quality materials and it’s lightweight and quick/easy to assemble. Better suited for smaller breeds I think.

Bought this for our 12 week old setterpoo because he needs something that’s a combination of mental stimulation and physical activity to wear him out.

He absolutely loves it. 5-10 minutes on this and he’s knackered. It’s been good for impulse control training too.

Pole is pretty robust and well made, likewise the cord. The rope toy is also pretty solidly made but is soft so it’s gentle on his mouth if he’s tugging it or if he goes to grab it and it gets pulled away suddenly.
