Plug

Plug the Audikast into a power source and connect to your TV’s audio output port.

Pair

On first use, the Audikast will enter pairing mode automatically. Put your headphones in pairing mode as well to connect them.

Switch

If you connected via optical, switch your TV audio settings to “Optical” and “PCM / Stereo.”

Avantree Audicast outputting TV sound to bluetooth headphones.

Play

Sit back, relax, and enjoy!

The Audikast reaches up to 100ft / 30m in open space, but the range may vary due to obstacles, interference, headphones reception, and the number of devices connected to the transmitter.

Can I have audio through my TV’s speakers and wireless headphones at the same time?

It depends on whether your TV can output audio to two devices simultaneously. If not, we offer products for simultaneous TV audio on an external speaker and Bluetooth headphones (pass-through support). Find more details in the Avantree ��غ�� store.

Setting it up was straightforward; as someone who enjoys working with tech, I appreciate when products function seamlessly from the start. I connected it to my headphones easily using the optical cable, and the volume boost feature proved particularly helpful when watching quieter programmes in the evening. It made the dialogue much clearer without needing to push the headphones to their maximum volume.

The sound quality is very good for Bluetooth, with no noticeable delays when paired with my aptX Low Latency headphones. I tested the dual-link function with two sets of headphones while watching a family film, and it worked well, although I did notice occasional minor instability with the second connection. It operates reliably within our flat, though I observed some signal drops near the kitchen – likely because I was approaching the 100ft range through walls. It’s particularly handy for late-night gaming, despite a few minor issues.

Cuando lo compré tenía dudas porque sólo puedo usar la entrada auxiliar y había leído un comentario que decía que en cuanto desaparecía la señal de audio de la entrada auxiliar conmutaba automáticamente a la entrada óptica y que eso ocasionaba la pérdida de algunos segundos de audio al volver a enviar audio por la entrada auxiliar. Tengo Avantree Audikast 3 [Versión 2025], sólo uso la entrada auxiliar y eso no ocurre. Desde el momento que detecta un cable conectado sólo utiliza esa entrada.
