I’m actually not much of a runner but I do go for long walks with the dog every day and I find this is good way of walking swiftly and not needing to bring a bag. I just put a key, my phone a dog poo bag and fill the water bottle up for my dog. A good alternative solution to carrying a bag around when you just want to concentrate on a quick walk to get the heartbeat up

This running vest is exactly as described made from neoprene like a lot of similar running vests. It is perforated to improve breathability and it feels soft and padded. The flexible water bottle fits easily into the vest and there is a zipped pocket to keep your phone secure and within reach. There are a couple of little addition pockets large enough for keys or similar and that’s your lot, this is after all meant to be a lightweight vest. The adjustable straps make for a comfortable fit and mean unlike some other running vest you don’t need to get this over your head to put it on. The reflective panels help visibility a little, although a bonafide retro-reflective material would show up far better in car headlights.

The general fit and finish is decent and priced at £25 at time of review this is fair value.

This vest is aimed at those going for slightly longer runs, you can take your phone, keys etc and also a small amount of fluid. It’s very comfortable and sits easy on your body, you barely know you’ve got it on. The quality is decent and the compartments and straps all work well. It’s much cheaper than a fully branded vest yet still retains a decent level of quality to be honest. There are also small amounts of high viz, sufficient to be seen I’d say without looking ridiculous. Overall I like this vest and would have been happy if I’d purchased it myself.
