First things first this is heavy as it is without the plants on there so I would probably make it near where you are going to put it!

Lots of parts but the instructions were pretty clear and once up it looks far more sturdy that what you think it would be when just looking at it in pieces on the floor. It's not going to hold huge plants but for the little pot plants that you get it's great.

I liked that the lights were adjustable, pretty handy in winter to give your green children a boost! Wasn't blinding either, so if you wanted to use it as an extravagant floor lamp then you absolutely could.

To be honest, if you were so inclined you could also use it to display crystals or collectables with the light there to show them off.

This is a lovely stand for plants and it looks great in my new conservatory. It's not quite as big as it looks from the pictures, but still makes a statement in any room.
It takes a bit of thought to assemble the stand and looks quite intimidating before you start, but the instructions are pretty clear, so you can complete it in around 40 minutes or so. Once assembled it's sturdy and also quite heavy so it's best to put it together somewhere near it's final destination.
If you didn't want to use it with plants, you could also use it as a display stand, using the lights to highlight any bits and bobs. However, it does look good with my smaller plants and I'm sure they'll love the extra light, especially at this time of year.
I'm really quite pleased with it and think it's versatile as well as looking good.

This stand, once built, is a bit of a statement piece. My heart sank when I opened the box and found what looked like numerous pipes and blocks, but it comes with full instructions and the tools needed for assembly. I have arthritis and grip difficulty but I was able to assemble it without help. There are also ties to secure it to a wall if you have any concern that it may tip.

It’s a contemporary design and with the right plants on each shelf, it’s a real eye catcher. The light strips orovide the necessary light required for optimum growth and the brightness can be adjusted. It looks striking set up in a corner…I need four more plants to fill it. Most of my houseplants are too large to go on this stand so I’m going to select some really attractive pots to fill it up. The poles are good quality and I’d say the unit will last. Very impressed.
