SAFETY: The Banbaloo senior barrier, tested in several geriatric centers, makes the person feel safe, protected and much more free than with the uncomfortable traditional bars. The person will not feel caged and will avoid unexpected bumps or falls from the bed.
DESIGN: The design of the Banbaloo semi-cylindrical cushion is intended for all types of single beds, double beds and trundle beds, regardless of the size and thickness of the mattresses. Its measures: 52,70x7,5x4,7inch, are the ideal ones to fulfill its function. It has the ideal height to place it in the lower part of the bed and to be able to support the feet in rise to improve problems of circulation pains and overload.
COMFORT: The effectiveness of the fence lies in the good support between the fitted sheet and the mattress, something that no other type of crescent-shaped cushions and pillows allow. This is achieved thanks to its double anti-slip system. Its soft touch avoids knocks or scratches to people with nervous or psychomotor problems or with some kind of handicap.
USE: The installation of the rail is very easy and fast. It comes with a hypoallergenic and waterproof cover to avoid small contingencies, the cover is removable and machine washable.
PORTABLE: You will find it very practical to travel with the protector comfortably and not have to carry the heavy and bulky traditional barriers.

I bought this to see if it would stop my mother falling out of the bed. She refused a cot side so I thought this would be more dignified for her. And it is! Such a great product and to have peace of mind that mum is safe while in bed is the most important. So easy to install ( just place under fitted sheet). It comes vacuum packed so it will inflate to full height after a couple of hours or so. If you have a high bed, this will make it more difficult to get in and out of the bed though. Also because of the design you will have a ridge at the edge of your bed when it’s made. A minimal drawback if you ask me. Plus mum has said it’s added extra heat, which at this time of year is very much welcome. All in all I’m very happy I bought this product and would definitely recommend to others

I bought this product as I am a restless sleeper and have episodes of falling out of a single bed. As I have a 10 inch mattress on top of a fairly high bed frame, I have hurt myself on a number of occasions. In spite of tucking the bottom sheet firmly under the bed on top of the barrier, the barrier almost nightly ends up suspended on the sheet at the side of the bed. If I push down on the barrier before I attach the sheet, the barrier just slides across the mattress, which is almost brand new. I thought that the bottom ribbed surface of the barrier was so designed as to prevent this from happening. Does anyone have any ideas to prevent this from happening please?

So much better than a bed guard which makes elderly feel trapped. Foam can be removed or slide over top of to get out of bed.

I am SO happy with this product. I rarely will write review but this product deserves high praise. It works great and my husband is comfortable and sleeping well now which means I can sleep well. My husband has a form of parkinson's. We tried metal rails before but they had sharp points and such when putting the rail down to get out of bed. We hated that type of rail. I donated it to goodwill. This product is comfortable, no sharp edges and it is effective. We have only had it for two nights but it works like a dream.
