PROS
-reasonably fast (but does not reach full potential of my cards)
-small and light, great for the camera bag
-works on USB hubs that my name brand CFExpress card reader won’t work with
-nice to have the USB-A adaptor captured to the cable
-spring-loaded card slot
-unobtrusive LED shows read/write activity

CONS
-throughput does not reach the full potential of the USB3.1 Gen2 spec (10Gb/s is 1250MB/s). I tested with my Prograde Cobalt cards (rated for R1700MB/s W1500MB/s). The card reader topped out at R526MB/s W680MB/s, so this card reader is moving data at about half the rate it should.
-USB-C plug a little bulky, interferes on some of the devices I have where the USB-C ports are close together
-could be more robust: case is plastic, cable strain-relief is minimal
-cable is built-in, it would be nice if it were detachable (so I could pack it more easily, plus I could then use longer cables).

NOTES
-it’s small, convenient, and the two plug types make is a bit versatile. This doesn’t quite make up for it’s throughput at 1/2 of its spec though. For me, it’s a backup card reader, as I have a much high spec reader on my main machine.

It would have been nice to have also had an integrated SD card slot, so that I could retire my older Transcend card reader (which doesn't do CFexpress) but that's being picky. There are Type A & Type B so you must make sure that you get the correct reader for your card.

Got a new camera using CF Express type B so needed a new reader. Wish this one had slots for more card types than type B and SD because I still have cameras that use other CF formats.
