We use it whilst driving which is a complete different experience, the range goes for about 4-5 miles on the motorway and about 2-3 miles in the city. The dual band is very useful when we are in convoy with others and the battery lasts up to 2 days of constant use. Sound quality is pretty good and it’s really easy to use. Would recommend buying an external wired speaker mic for when driving. Would definitely recommend!

Little tricky user interface, but anyone who's had a radio before, would know how to use it.
- The accompanying user manual is not very good... but that's what you paid for.
- The only really bad thing is that all these radios need a special programming cable, before it's really useful. Make sure to get a cable before you buy this! You need it to quickly setup you channel list and have a far better experience with the device.
