As simple as a modified sine wave inverter will get. It works well at 12V, but drop it to 10V (about the lower side of an AGM battery) and the sine wave is very square. Up the voltage to 14.6V (the charging rate of a lithium battery) and the sine wave is very stepped. Up it further to 16V and it dies. There is a fuse on the inside, but it doesnt protect it from over-voltage on the in. I wouldnt use this with any fragile electronic devices like TV's, laptops, medical equipment, but for running a heater like an electric blanket, it will be fine.

This is a very lightweight and on-a-budget inverter that does the job - just not very slickly.

There's a short lead to the 12V accessory plug which on my 150W version looks like it's a bit lightweight to take around 13A. The unit case is very thin aluminium and has slightly loose screws keeping it together. No large heatsink in this one, so again, I wouldn't like to draw 150W for any time.

The main unit has a small switch on the 12V side to turn it on and off. On the other end is a multi-shaped socket of UK, US and European plugs. Next to this is a single USB-A port.

My problem is that the mains socket doesn't have shutters to protect the holes - in fact you can see the terminals quite clearly and they aren't that deep in. A child's fingers could easily get in there. I'd certainly recommend plugging something in first before turning it on, and similarly turning it off before removing the mains plug.

Certainly provides mains power - I was running a 50W plastic weld gun off it and it only got slightly warm. Certainly go for a much higher rating that you think you'll need. And BE CAREFUL of the mains socket.
