This is a replacement ashcan for our open fire. It replaces, the previous replacement, bought over 15 years ago which had rusted through. This is robust and well made, also galvanised, which the previous replacement was not, so hopefully it will stand up better to the red hot ashes, and rain down the chimney which caused the demise of the previous ashbox.
It arrived well packaged, and on-time, good service from Stewart and Gibson Ltd.
