    Bought as a replacement for a very old (possibly original) ash can in this Baxi fireplace. The old one was gradually rotting/rusting away in its base, with holes appearing, to the extent that during the last few times I emptied it, I was worried that the bottom might collapse and all the ash content spill on the carpet or elsewhere on its disposal journey...
    This replacement arrived quickly, despite being ordered just before the New Year weekend. It appears to be much more sturdy in fabrication, and fits the 'hole' perfectly. I'm looking forward to many years in use!

I needed the perfect size and it needed to be hard wearing and would last! As soon as I opened the box it looked great! I then lowered into the fireplace and fitted like a glove!

    Not good. I purchased one of these pans and the handle broke after only three weeks or so, which was something like three uses. Luckily, the ash did not go on my carpet.

    The shop quickly sent out a replacement with an apology at no charge, only for the same to happen again.

    My requests for a refund were refused based on this being a replacement, despite being unfit for purpose. I would not recommend this product, nor this seller based on my experience here.

    I now have two useless items and no refund, poor all round.
