Cheaply Made, won’t last long

Bought this from another supplier, have had Beko before and liked their simplicity. paid about 300quid.

Had this model for 4 weeks and it’s leaking out of the front of the door where the seal is. Also has plastic hinges and door wobbles when you pull it open, also drum has plastic fins which look cheap. Really can’t see this lasting long at all, didn’t take out the extended warranty offer Beko do because even though the parts are covered, you still have to pay for the service and fitting of the part. They are pushy about the extended warranty, maybe just make something in the first place that doesn’t have to be replaced in a year or so. If they stood by the quality of this product then they would give you 3-5 year warranty free of charge, but they don’t. When you call them to register the warranty (12months) the guy that answered my call was obnoxious and a terrible customer service agent.

It’s a good machine besides the Door leaking, the plastic hinges and the fact that the drum seems not to have a good depth, oh and also because of the plastic drum fins it will probably break if you put something like a metal buckle in there. If it breaks because of something like that then they charge you for fixing it even in the warranty I was told by the bloke who tried to sell me the extended warranty.

Like another review of this product online says, the programs are wayyyyyy to long, averaging 2 and a half hours., there is a quick wash and a quick quick wash, but I doubt it will actually clean anything, just get them wet in that time.

Also there’s no point whatsoever using a temperature less than 40 to clean your clothes, it isn’t saving the planet and it certainly isn’t hot enough to actually kill anything including smell, that’s why the craze with the scent boosters, to kill the smell of you washing your clothes in the same temperature as the canal.

We are having someone out on the 31st December to try and fix the leaking machine, waste of money.
