This innovative table fan and air cooler gives you a fan and humidifier in one. On particularly hot days, the LV50 uses water evapouration technology to cool the air without the use of chemicals. The warm air is drawn into the fan, passed through the cooling evaporation filter and blown back out to surround you with cool air - great for the office, your bedroom or caravanning holidays. The option to use the LV50 mains powered or powered by USB adds to its portablilty. Remove the water bottle and the unit can be used as a table fan to circulate the air in stuffy rooms.

This is the perfect fan for what I need. With two humans and two dogs in a room during this heatwave it was getting really hot. The addition of the water bottle definitely cools the air significantly and, when positioned on a bedside table, it cools both of us enough to sleep.
Unlike the other reviews, we don’t find this too noisy and the dogs aren’t bothered by it either. It’s not silent by any means but I wouldn’t expect it to be. Also it’s so handy to stash away in the colder months as it’s so teeny. The maintenance is also minimal considering how cooling it is!
Really impressed with this and works perfectly for what I need it for.

Great but almost impossible to find filter replacement. Couldn't find replacement filter on ��غ�� and when I did find a supplier they were expensive. And you cannot clean the fan at the back very well. I got the whole unit at a cheap price when they were on offer. But I would not buy at full price because the filters are hard to find and when you find them, they're expensive. Maybe because of the weather, that they are in demand. So may try to find the filters in the Autumn or winter??????

because the water bottle is on the outside it means the fan itself is tiny - having the water bottle on the outside tho means can put it in the fridge to be very cool when fit it to the side of the fan - neat bit of design

I use my PC a lot during the year and in the summer it's a nightmare. At any given time I will have at least 3 fans on and I thought this would be great to try.

This works by using a mini fan to cool air using evaporating water. You put water in a small bottle that you connect to the fan. You can use the fan without water but then you just have a normal air fan.
It’s quite messy if you want to unplug the bottle when there is water in it.
The device is powered by a micro USB cable and you can plug it into the PC or connected it to the mains by using a mobile adapter.

There are 3 fan speeds and there is a touch button on the top of the fan to change the speed. To be fair there isn't much difference between the speeds but the fan gets louder when the speed is increased.
It also comes with a filter that lasts for up to 1000 hours which is good. I like that the fan is very compact and stylish.
Overall is quite a nice product but definitely could be better.

I received a similar product to this from a different company a while ago, I did find that although it was cooling, it was also very noisy. To be fair though, that was a cheaper model. This Beurer air cooler is much quieter in comparison, it is not silent as you can still hear the fan turning but it is an acceptable level in my opinion. I can't say I have ever heard a totally silent fan, so I was expecting some fan noise.

This is quite small and compact, it will easily sit on a cupboard or desktop without taking up too much space. The build quality is decent, it is made from plastic but it appears quite sturdy. The base unclips so you can access the large internal filter for cleaning or drying. The fan assembly is mounted on the rear of the unit, it does protrude from the back which allows for maximum airflow. There is a small tray that pulls from the side, this is where the supplied bottle sits which provides the cooler with cold water.

The small plastic bottle has a capacity of 0.25 Litre which holds enough water to feed the cooler for up to 4 hours on the highest setting. There are 3 speeds to choose from, fan speed is selected via a touch button on top, there are 2 buttons in total: Power and Fan speed. The bottle has a screw cap which allows the water to be placed in a fridge when not in use.

It is best to use chilled water if possible as that is what is used to cool the air from the unit. I have a water chiller on our fridge so I used the water from that. This worked without issue, I can feel a lovely cool breeze from the unit. The front grill on the air outlet can be directed up, down or straight, this is ideal if you don't wish the cool air to blow directly on you.

All in all, this performs well, is reasonably well made and easy to operate. It certainly will be invaluable on a hot day!

We bought this small fan to keep our cat somewhat cool during travels on a sleeper train without AC. It works as one would expect from a device of this size. It does keep cool stuff that is nearby but it is simply to small to cool down a whole train compartment (we never expected it would). For those who want to use this to cool off as they work at a desk or to cool down a specific small area, this is a good product. Easy to use, good looking and compact. It is not noisy.
