This is a really nice, well-priced flat-packed occasional cabinet.
'Occasional cabinet' is of course another way of saying 'jack of all trades', which this certainly is. Supplied in a large, weighty cardboard box with instructions and all necessary fittings, assembly is not the work of a moment, but an hour or so with a bit of care will see most of it done. The particle board basis and metal feet are high quality, with a nice, honest mid-century modern feel to the styling, especially the half-slatted effect on the doors / frontage. The metal legs & base structure in particular are hefty and ensure good stability, and the whole is both nicely compact and surprisingly capacious, with solid internal shelves, strong doors and good hinges. At £139.99 (December '24) it's not the cheapest, but it's a quality item and well worth considering.
