Video Doorbell standalone does not include a Sync Module 2. Without a Sync Module 2, live-view and two-way audio are only available in response to a doorbell press or motion event. Get these features on demand with a Blink Sync Module 2.

To save and share clips, choose from an optional Blink Subscription plan (sold separately) for cloud storage, or store locally a Blink Sync Module 2 and USB flash drive (each sold separately).

Video Doorbell is weather resistant with a seal that protects against water. We recommend mounting it to your home with the included back plate .

Batteries are required for Video Doorbell to function even when hard-wired. To install Blink Video Doorbell so it chimes through your existing doorbell wiring, 16 - 24 VCA is required.

    I got very tired of paying for a ring doorbell subscription and I thought that moving to the blink ecosystem would be the solution I needed as it was good value and functionally free once set up. However despite being quite technically skilled I could not get a reliable setup or non-frustrating setup out of blink. It was so terribly inconsistent everything felt cheap the doorbell didn't mount flush on the surface the same way the ring doorbell did and overall everything was just much worse. Perhaps for a really small apartments on a single floor with a strong internet connection and a very simple setup this would work but I cannot based on my experience recommend it one bit as I ended up returning everything and moving back to my old ring doorbell. If I could redo everything I would probably invest in something like the eufy ecosystem or even just Google nest as their subscription offers great value in conjunction with their other services I utilise.

    I wish it would just stay connected. Constant drop outs, terrible battery life, a lag before you can see what's on the camera means you miss people ringing the bell, no ability to have a relay chime (so you have to rely on Eachother Dots or similar, with equally woeful interfaces), half the time the videos don't actually record..

    I will get a Ring system instead and just pay for the subscription.
