Block Blitz Paving Cleaner is the low cost, efficient and environmentally friendly way to clean and protect your block paving areas.Use twice a year and you will never have to scrub or pressure wash your paving again. Regular treatment will deter up to 90% weed growth and 99% moss growth.To use, simply mix the powder in a watering can, apply and leave. That’s all there is to it.Formulated and manufactured in the UK, Block Blitz products are based on a powerful mineral and plant based formula. They’re 100% biodegradable, non-abrasive and contain no bleach, acids or biocides.How much Block Blitz do you need? One 380g pouch of Block Blitz will treat 15 square metres – roughly the area covered by one and a half cars. Pouches are available in boxes of 2, 4 or 8. I have for years dreaded cleaning my block paved driveway which seems to need extensive jet washing at least twice a year.

Thankfully, I have now found this product and after using for 2 years feel I am not well placed to write a review.

The negatives first - it does not mix very well and takes quite a while to dissolve before it can be applied. You will need to purchase a large watering can (10 litre) as one sachet needs mixing with 10 litres of water. Obviously you could try and half the mixture and use a small watering can but that would be a faff and take twice as long to mix and apply.
Positives - the product works very well indeed. I apply it twice a year and that's it - no more jet washing. It cleans and keeps the paving clean with just the occasional minor intervention with a weed killer.

I have an expanse of block paving at the front, side and rear of my house which, until I found Block Blitz, was the bane of my life.
This product is incredibly effective at keeping the blocks looking good, weed-free (and cleaner than my neighbour’s) for 6 months if used properly.

I mix it in a designated watering can using a big flat stick, then, with the sprinkle head on, walk backwards swinging the can side to side as I go. A couple of refills and within half an hour the whole job is done until the next time.
An absolute winner.
It’s also non-toxic.
