We have not tried this brand before but they arrived nicely boxed and packaged in sixes in sealed cellophane which makes them easier to store and handle than the loose ones. The balls are firm and do not flake. However, usually suet balls are devoured first and fast by our avian friends, but these are hanging about and definitely third choice behind peanuts and blocks. I guess, once it gets properly cold and the need is greater, feathered scruples will be overcome so, for now, with natural food options about, I suppose one could conclude these are saving one money!
