Customers are unhappy with the product's durability. They mention it breaks quickly, is not sturdy or strong for the job, and the flimsy material collapses after 7 bulbs planted in soft ground. The metal buckles, pops the spring on the first use, and the handle falls apart by hole 4. Some customers say it doesn't last an hour and is cheap but not good for the job in hand.

I bought this garden bulb planter tool on price. Oh boy, it is cheap but not good for the job in hand. The metal surround is well constructed but the handle and its support where 100% of the pressure is put to make the whole in the ground, is very week. Buyer be aware. It just buckles!

I have a fairly solid clay soil and the handle will separate in the middle when you put any pressure on it to take the soil out. It does still do the job and it is easy to adjust the handle to drop the soil back into the hole once your bulbs are put into the hole. Will probably work better on a lighter soil type.
