The Burg Wächter 100D Y U-lock is a heavy duty lock ideal for securing up to 12mm chains and cables. The body of the lock is made of hardened steel and the 16mm shackle is made of case hardened steel, both providing tough resistance to attack. The shackle is secured by a double bolted disk mechanism locking both ends and can be completely detached from the body of the lock when unlocked. The lock is weather resistant and suitable for outdoor use, with a keyhole cover protecting the internals.
They keyhole cover rotates to stop rain and dirt entering the lock mechanism improving its durability and weather resistance.
We are proud that our 100d lock is Sold Secure Diamond rated for bicycles, which is the highest security rating, & Gold for use with motorcycles. Its also Secured by Design police preferred. Both these accreditations are needed to be covered by house and bike insurance.
At 16mm thick & case hardened steel the u lock provides excellent strength against any attack & the rubber protector stops scratches and marks when securing your items.
