This is a little genius of a product! If you live somewhere where you have to keep your butter in the fridge year-round and it is impossible to spread straight from the fridge because it is so cold and solid, this brilliant knife is the answer! You just scrape it across the top of the butter and using one side you have a serrated edge that produces thinner shreds of butter than would be possible with an ordinary knife and using the other side, which has tiny little holes along the edge, it produces thin little curls of butter that are easy to spread because they are so thin. It is such a simple idea, but so effective! For a small knife, the handle is very solid, which makes it easy to hold and use. I had to contact the vendor before buying it to be sure that it would reach me before I left the UK and they responded very quickly, were very efficient and it reached me in good time.
