I wanted to find a converter that would easily convert the composite (RCA) output on a VCR to my newer OLED TV. The analog on the input TV kept giving me issues, likely related to copy protection on the tapes (blown out colours, flickering, etc). This unit ignored all that and passed through a really good picture (for VHS on a HDTV). The 4:3/16:9 switch is a nice feature as well so you don't need to play in your TV settings to ensure the proper aspect ratio.

Tenía dudas con respecto al retardo o lag que se generaría para jugar a juegos de consolas antiguas con salida RCA en televisor moderno con entrada HDMI. Probé PS2 con juego Guitar Hero, que requiere muy poco lag para jugar fluido. Inicialmente no era jugable hasta que configuré la pantalla del televisor en modo videojuegos, para minimizar el lag producido por el propio televisor, y ahora va de maravilla, por lo que entiendo que el propio adaptador no genera retardo apreciable. Asi que recomiendo tener en cuenta el lag que generan los propios televisores antes de considerar que lo genera el conversor. La opción 4:3 para consolas antiguas es esencial y este adaptador cumple con eso. Yo he conectado el USB para alimentación directamente a USB del televisor y funciona perfectamente. Estoy satisfecho 100%.
