Whereas most lids have plastic sliding lifts which are prone to snapping, ours has rust-resistant aluminium sliding shifts. As well as being stronger, they're less stiff to smoothly open and close.
For peace of mind, we've fitted the lid with a harp staple lock. Although the waterproof outdoor storage box doesn't include a padlock, the harp staple lock allows you to padlock it closed.
The box weighs 6kg when empty and has recessed handles on either side. This allows you to easily move it if you need to clean your garden or clear some space for a family barbecue.
