Product description

Introducing our premium Knee Pads, generously sized knee pad with a gel cushion and EVA foam padding for comfort. It has an extended for 2024 hook and loop fastenings for easy adjustment. The front has a strong non slip PP and TPR shell- strong resilient crack resistant and non slip material. One size fits all with padding above the knee as well as in the knee itself. The hook and loop adjustment is long enough for wearing over the thickest of work trousers or overalls. New for 2024 is our 4 x 7" extended straps supplied free. These offer substantial protection with extreme comfort.

These knee pads are an order of magnitude better than my old ones. In particular, kneeling on them is extraordinarily comfortable. I can only compare it to kneeling on a firm smooth mattress.

The knee pads are less comfortable when walking about because to stop them slipping down my legs I have to tighten the thigh straps excessively. There is a soft rectangular pad in the web above the plastic shells to which the thigh straps are connected. This slips down to rest on the top of my knees and helps keep everything in place but then the straps rub against the fold at the back of my knee joints when I kneel down. To get my knees in the best position on the pads before kneeling I have to hitch up the pads.

At the very least, some additional padding around the thigh straps would help. I shall have to improvise my own. Although at the moment I wear long coveralls which provides some padding at the back of the leg, in summer I am often in shorts and the straps will be more uncomfortable still.

To summarise, the knee pads themselves are a delight to kneel on. The calf straps are acceptable. The thigh straps need more attention. Nonetheless, these are still the best knee pads I have ever used. Providing a drawstring bag to store the pads in is much appreciated.

The pads arrive well packaged and are straight forward to fit and adjust to comfort. The straps are a nice thickness, and I didn't find them bunching up and trying to strangle my leg starving it of essential blood flow like some I've used in the past. They stay in place while moving around and offer very good protection when on the knees. The only thing I noticed, was that when in the kneeling position, the plastic sewn on the material was pulling somewhat, and while the stitching was then visible, it did make me wonder how long it would last if it did that often enough. Refitting it to a better position does improve that, however, do watch out for that and adjust them a bit more if needed... too much pulling in that area too often, and I think eventually something is going to give.

Overall, they're good knee pads, very well-made, comfortable and should last a very long time... I like them!

These are really good. They are just a little tricky to put on in that you really need 3 hands, one to hold them in place and the other 2 to connect the Velcro straps. With a little practice it is fairly straightforward. It’s important to get it right or they will slide down your leg.
However, once you get them firmly in place they are very good. They are comfortable to wear even for a few hours and do a great job of cushioning your knees when you kneel on any surface.
They are made of good quality material and look the part. The straps of the ones I have at the moment ( a different make from these) have stretched and become difficult to tie firmly in place. These look like they will last better, which will be great. Interestingly, they give you strap extenders in case they straps are too short, whereas I think ones with a shorter strap would fit me much better.
I really like them and at £23.99 I think they are reasonable value for money.

I’m a carpet fitter and I spend all day on my knees. I’ve used a fair few kneepads and these are one of the better designs.

They are comfortable to wear for hours without any soreness, chaffing or irritation. They also don’t loosen off or slip when worn. There’s plenty of options for adjustability using the straps, which are well place and wide. They don’t roll over with use.

Most importantly, they don’t twist around, so I can bend my knees freely without the need to readjust, which is important when I have my hands full.

I’m not sure how long they will last with daily use. The outer plastic seems durable.

They are quite warm, even in winter, so summer might be an issue. I make sure to wear them over a breathable, absorbent fabric (like cotton) so that excess sweat can be absorbed and not get into the straps. Otherwise, the straps will start to stink quite quickly.

These are brilliant knee pads - massively better than anything I've tried before.

The pads come with two wide, velcro straps to secure in place. One above the knee and one below.

The knee pad itself is well designed. It allows normal movement - walking etc - the pad feels a bit funny but it doesn't get in the way. When kneeling the cushioning is impressive. I have very sensitive, knobbly knees and hate kneeling down even on carpet, but with these on, kneeling on concrete is no problem.

The materials used appear to be good quality and I feel this will last a long time while taking many knocks along the way.

My old pads are in the bin - these are so much better.

Ordered these as i have a set of basic ones i have used for many years, these are very well padded and in my opinion they are way too bulky, they do offer more protection so no worries about dropping harder on your knees in these, what i do feel with these is that they bend rather well when going down to knee however for walking they are rather restrictive, making it a fair bit harder to straighten your knee. the weight is also another consideration as they do weigh a fair bit being hard outer rigid plastic. The gel layer in these is also very thick so you definitely will benefit if you are down quite a lot.

Price for the quality of the product i can not knock, they do provide way more comfort and protection than most will ever need but is you spend more time stood up than down then would advise at looking in to more compact versions that are less restrictive.
