I review this as someone not using the aroma options on the unit, my interest is more to do with my desire to remove dust from my sleeping area.
The unit comes well packed and is simple to set up. Despite the basic "feel" of the unit it does actually provide a lot of information via the lights displayed and is reasonably sophisticated, yet the controls are very straight forward.
There is some noise which might make it undesirable if you are one of those people who demands silence, I myself found it quite comforting along with the gentle glow the unit puts out.
I have been running the unit nightly for 2 weeks now and the filter has collected stuff from my room, that can only mean it is working.
On the subject of filters and replacements (the unit tells you when it's time and that will really depend on how much it takes out of the air) the current listing my the supplier has no filters available, however there are compatible filters available on ÍøÆغÚÁÏ for around £20 for a pair. Given the approximate life expectancy can be up to 6 months that isn't an unreasonable price (you can clean them too, up to a point). The unit is economical at 18 watts (from the listing) so that's one unit of electricity every 2 and a bit days, so very fair.
I'm hoping that it will assist when the summer comes and the pollen count is high.
In summary, seems basic but works well, indicators are helpful, controls are straight forward, several modes available, filters are not prohibitively expensive per filter (they can be cleaned for a while) and the running cost is low.
