    This vinyl pressing is good, no pops or crackles and the sound quality is good throughout. One or two reviewers have said there’s a big volume difference between the first track and the rest. This is because the first one is a processional carol, so the choir is walking up the aisle as they sing so the sound volume builds as they get closer to the altar. By the time the carol finishes the volume is consistent with the rest of the album. It’s a nice selection, well performed on a good clean vinyl pressing. Perfect for Christmas.

    Such a shame. Was really looking forward to these records. Bought one for myself and one for my Father as a Christmas Gift. The sound quality on mine was so incredibly poor, I had to unwrap my Dad's gift to check the quality. It was just as bad. Kings Collège Cambridge is phenomenal. Unfortunately the quality of the vinyl is incredibly poor. Continuous background noise as well as constant skipping and popping. Poor manufacturing of the vinyl.

    Aunque algunas reseñas cuestionaban la calidad de esta grabación, aprovechando que estaba en oferta a tan solo 7€ no dudé en comprarlo ni un segundo. Es cierto que no se trata de un excelente prensaje y que presenta leves defectos, como un feo roce en A4 que emite un ligero click durante algunos segundos o una mínima variación de volumen en diferentes canciones (que entiendo es algo comprensible al tratarse de grabaciones registradas en la capilla del King's College durante diferentes años entre 1969 y 1978 casi como si de "field recordings" de aquella época se tratase), pero nada significativamente grave que evite disfrutar de esta fantástica selección de temas navideños. Si alguna vez lo vuelves a ver rebajado, recomendaría del todo su compra. Yo, después de este, he comprado también el "Christmas at King's" en vinilo blanco actualmente rebajado a esos imbatibles siete euros.
