These support a charging current of up to 3 Amps - so 15 Watts. This is fine for standard charging (e.g. charging your phone overnight of topping up). Thee is no super-fast charging so care is needed to match the cable rating with that of the associated device and charger. For this reason I wish the cables had the power ratings marked on the ends (sadly most cables don't).

In use my phone, tablet, ear buds and speaker all charge without issue and at the expected speeds. I tested data transfer (capped at USB 2.0 speeds) between my phone and laptop and that works fine too.

One nice feature is the LED at the Type-C end, which lets you know that your device is being charged.

They come well packaged and on opening feel like great quality cables. I particularly like the cable is not just plastic but a woven type material which seems strong and sturdy, but also bends very nicely.

So, on first impressions very happy and with high expectations.

The cable then plugged into the charger well and also charger my phone well. The charge is very quick.

However, and it is a big however, the wire has a green light on it which tells you that it has power. It is however, not a stubtle green glow but extremely bright. So bright in fact that I like to charge my phone in my bedroom and it made the bedroom have a green glow and I could not sleep.

I realised, that if I plug it the otherway round so the light sits on the floor and tuck it in under my bed then I can get away with the light. But, sadly the light ruins what would otherwise be a good cable.

Any cable which lasts for more than a few weeks in this household must be good. I much prefer braided charging cables as they do seem to last a lot longer and avoid degrading from children grabbing the wire rather than the plastic end to remove the cable from their devices.
6ft is a handy length of cable as I find that I can still use my phone whilst it is plugged in without having to stoop.
I will be looking for this or a similar cable if I need to replace it. Would recommend.
