It had a few imperfections on the top but u won't see them as I'm putting the shelf up high. Its very cute and perfect for small areas its standing on top of a kallex unit so I haven't put holes in my wall . A few little nails would hold it though as it has 2 little picture hooks at the top. Overall I'm very pleased with it and would buy again.
