It's sturdy and keeps my GoPro well supported and if you do anything more than just adventure filming [e.g. Vlogging with Mics], then this is a must to have.

This is an excellent choice, for any of the Gopros from the Hero 9 upto the latest.

For the price, its got everything in the box that'll be useful especially if you are like me and need to add a light, shotgun microphone, and a Gopro mic Adapter.

Build quality is again excellent, and feels more like aluminium at the first touch than plastic, so thats good in itself

I wish that there was some sort of rubber type coating on the inside of the cage, just to avoid and scratches appearing on the GoPos casing itself .. and some plastic coating on the outside wouldn't go amiss, just for the extra grip.

Strangely enough it's identical to one of my other cages that's made by Sm***R*g, right down to the feel of it, that I've already got on my other Gopro so I'm suspecting that both companies are a brother and sister company ??

I've given this a 4 out of 5 star rating only because of the lack of the rubber coating that would have been a sensible measure to ensure that its customers devices stays nice, new and scratch free so I'll be adding that coating myself very soon

A nicely engineered GoPro cage from Neewer adding functionality and protection to the later GoPro models.

This cage immediately adds a degree of professionalism to your GoPro image and makes your setup look a lot more workmanlike.

The additional mounting points for accessories include a double cold shoe adaptor enabling the addition of both a light and microphone as well as a lower bracket to allow the use of a professional microphone adaptor.

Also included in the package is a replacement battery door with a slot to allow the attachment of a USB power cable so that you don't have to rely on the camera battery alone.

All in all, a very handy and useful addition to your GoPro setup!
