Yes the dreaded stick shift struck, and rather than replace the controller I thought I’d give these a try. If you can use a soldering iron then consider getting these if you have Xbox controllers that are sticking/drifting. Fitted a treat and I have no more problems. Will grab some more for further use if needed.

I changed deadzones up and within an hour of play it's at nearly 30% drift which is utterly terrible. 14 solder connections is quite a lengthy repair as well so sub standard parts have wasted a lot of time and I'll have to repeat it all again. All in all colossal waste of time, money and materials.

Watched a youtube vid on how to replace these and it helped, remember to purchase a solder sucker if you doing this yourself, i did purchase a new controller while i repaired my faulty one, the faulty one is now repaired and works perfect, can’t complain my controller is fixed for under a tenner, take your time and watch the youtube vid..
