For tablet and other devices with USB-C. Would normally use a straight adaptor, but this gives the option of attaching a wired USB device without putting as much direct strain on a USB-C port. Was also glad to see that a USB 3.0 stick was properly recognised and performed as such, also it was not affected by which way round the USB-C plug was inserted. Only thing against it would be the plastic construction rather than nice metal plug casings, but at time of review this is only cheap.
