So I like cast iron casseroles round ones, oval ones, shallow ones, but whilst I concede that a £330 le creuset are less likely to stick than a £30 one, than £300 advantage disappears when you use the large heat diffuser.
I paid £15.99 for the large size, it works with all 3 of my cast iron casseroles, which together cost less than £100.
Spreading the heat over the whole area whether on the large gas ring whilst softening the onions, or on the small gas ring for the long simmer, means nothing now sticks.
They're better than my friend's le Crusets which cost almost£1,000 for 3!!!
I've helpfully suggested that they get one for themselves :)
