I needed one of these to add a second attachment point on an ArcaSwiss plate to long lens connection. Although the screw works, the D shaped tightening piece is way too loose which makes it difficult to put into the clamp as it drops down and fouls on the clamp. Had to put a bit of adhesive to stiffen the action up.

The description of these screws states that they are stainless steel, well unfortunately they are not. These screws are magnetic, stainless steel is not magnetic!
The D-ring is quite small compared to others I have used, so could not be used to attach a strap too! So it would not be trusted as a replacement or spare for my Black Rapid strap screw. The D-ring is held on with two small pins, the ends of which are quite rough. The D-rings are also quite loose and don’t stay in place.
The screws are the correct thread and work as they should, a bit more attention to detail would make them better. They will be fine for their intended use, to attach a tripod quick release plate to the camera, but to claim they are stainless steel is not acceptable and so I have marked them down for that alone.
