We bought these at the last minute as an alternative to lugging a conventional set of binoculars up a mountain side. They fit a thigh pocket in fatigues, the visual quality was good for the cost and they adjust to different vision in one eye.

It's a bit of fuss to fold them out, focus etc but that is the price of portable so your decision to make on weight and size versus use. If you're going to spend the afternoon bird watching, buy a big set. If you just want to know what is on top of the far hill in boots and a coat, consider these.

I returned these binoculars because they are unusable for an adult.

No matter how I moved them around my eyes, I couldn't avoid obvious vignetting. Usually, you would have an adjustment to vary the eyepiece distance from your eye, which usually helps with this, but these have no adjustment. This is also important if you wear glasses, incidentally.

On the plus side, they are quite solid, so I suppose they'd be good for a child.

In any case, I sent them back as they were enormously frustrating to try and use.

Sehr sehr kleines Fernglas, das ich mir ins Wohnmobil legen werde. Es liegt sehr gut in den Händen da es gummiert ist und lässt sich gut in der Schärfe einstellen. Auch die Abstandsweite der Augen geht sehr einfach und ohne Fummelei. Das Bild ist klar und deutlich und die Vergrößerung für ein so kleines Fernglas ist beachtlich. Ob man Nachts damit noch gut etwas erkennen kann und ob es wasserdicht ist, habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert, werde dies wohl auch nicht brauchen. Es ist ein Etui dabei und ein kleines Putztuch. Ich würde es wieder kaufen.
