    I've no idea how big Kip Moore is in the USA. Sometimes acts can make a good living just touring around the hundreds of US venues. Kip could be one of those artists in line to ascend to Springsteen's throne - perhaps in the same way Taylor Swift made the leap from country to mainstream superstardom! That is no exaggeration for this supremely talented musician. I saw Kip at the London C2C a few years back where his set was a bit meandering; he decided to play Oasis' Don't Look Back In Anger at a country festival! However, every time Kip makes a record it is head and shoulders above most of the other new country artists. Only Brantley Gilbert, Chris Stapleton and David Nail can come near him for effortless class and quality in the genre. This latest album is no different. As soon as I heard the opening, title track (which I then had on repeat for several days after) I had to order this album. Not a bad song on the album - just like his others!

    Kip returns to, and expands on, some familiar themes. There were the early, hard years of life on the road, trying to make it and now there's success, but still on the road, getting older and, perhaps, wanting to slow down. He's still torn between being a 'wild and free' cowboy and settling down quietly with a partner. He sings of sadness and regrets over long-lost or elusive lovers and there are hints at the importance of his faith. There are some good, rousing rockers too which are great in the live show. Much as I love their voices together, I find the Kip/Ashley duet disappointing as the song is a bit weak. And, sorry, Kip, 'Kinda Bar' is just kinda dumb!

    Die neue CD ist super.Die ersten beiden Singleausklopplungen sind meines Erachtens die schwächsten Songs.Die anderen Songs auf der CD sind im Welten besser.Es gibt aber generell keinen schlechten Song auf der CD.In den USA hat er auch erst vor Kurzem seinen Durchbruch,was ich nicht verstehe,denn auch schon seine anderen Alben sind der Knaller.Ich denke er wird noch ein ganz Großer.Aber das ist ja alles eine Geschmackssache.Wer Countryfan ist und auch auf Chris Stapleton,Morgan Wallen und Luke Combs mag,wird Kip Moire lieben.
