First up the good things about this release. This is really the main selling point of the much larger and more expensive anniversary boxset. The fact they have made it available on vinyl and cd separately for such a low price , I paid just over 16 pound for the vinyl, should be commended. The packaging is excellent.. you get a soft touch gatefold sleeve with 2 posters both from the period of the tour.Probably the best thing about it is the music. The classic line up of Pink Floyd are playing this whilst it is still fresh to them but they still manage to improvise their way through some songs. So now the things that could of been better. One disappointment is that to fit the recording onto one album three of the songs have been edited down in length. This is not the case with the cd. It is done well but is slightly annoying when you can get decent sounding bootlegs of this gig which have not been edited like this. The other shame is that the rest of the concert is available so why not just release the whole thing. I'm guessing this is because when it's time to cash in on the Wish You Were Here 50th anniversary we will see another live album with the live tracks that appeared on the immersion version of that.If you don't have this live version of Dark side of the moon it is well worth getting just to hear the album in a new fresh way. Let's face it the price is excellent and what you are getting is quality.

This piece of music history for this price (£14.99) one of the best buys for any Floyd fan or anybody who likes DSOM. Everything in the package is of a high standard and the audio is of a very high quality.
This show cases how the band performed in the original line up and is a fantastic look at how they performed during the 1974 tour - I saw the opening night in Edinburgh and it now great to own a copy of the music form that era

I picked up a copy of this LP on غ for £14.99 and wasn't really expecting too much from it but I have to say that everything about it is top-notch. The cover is a really professional piece of work from the quality of the card used to the design and it's also a gatefold. Two posters are included but they aren't something that I can imagine too many people hanging on their walls: printed on good quality paper though.
The sound is excellent and all instruments and vocals are clear. It sounds like a full price 'official' release: in fact, it sounds better than a lot of live albums I can think of.
Snap it up whilst it's still at such a crazy price.

If anyone's out there with any doubts on buying a vinyl copy, rest assured, as this is definitely not one of these rush-jobs done for the now bi-annual Record Store Days. The pressing quality is 10 out of 10, with the sound mastering also an absolute delight too, as it's not set at full volume to the max leaving no ceiling head space. In fact, I found myself increasing the volume level just ever so slightly. Now, at first, I assumed this is more than likely due to the length of the recording, at 51min 30sec, however, a similar playback level is also evident on the CD version at 55min, too, as it has been mastered at a playback volume level at about 85% of that of the majority of the thousands of CDs that I own. This vinyl pressing (and the CD) is warm sounding with a real analogue feel and a delight to listen to and pure dead brilliant on headphones.
Really nice sleeve design with the addition of two posters, different to but the same scale as those included back in 1973. I love the surface texture they've used for the sleeve as it's got that sort of "rubbery" feel to it (sorry, but the technical name for it escapes me) - and easily wipeable to clean too, by the way, as I used to use that texture a lot for food and beverage menus when I worked as an hotel manager.
Oh, and the actual music is very nice indeed, too.

Incredible price for 180g and equally Incredible sound quality, my system is all valve and extremely revealing in detail, the engineer nailed the sound on this , superb deep bass and fantastic clarity , I cant believe I paid so little for it , lovely package and artwork, the 2 large posters are also superb, ive many different copies of dsotm but I honestly have to say this live album has become my favourite, all I can say is don't think about it buy it ! Arrived 2 weeks early double boxed , well done to غ on that too

I was lucky enough to see this album performed live back in the day. Listing to this again did bring back a lot memory's. Also its of a time when David Gilmour and Roger Water actually got on with each other and wrote produced some wonderful and fantastic music.
Well worth a listen for any Pink Floyd fan.
