I must say, this weighted hula hoop has been an unexpected delight in my fitness routine. After surgery, I found myself battling a stubborn area of fat around my midsection, and this ingenious creation has come to my rescue.

What's not to love about a workout that allows you to multitask? While I'm engrossed in my evening TV shows, I now have the perfect excuse to keep moving. Just half an hour with this hoop, and I can feel the burn in all the right places.

The 360-degree spinning ball with adjustable weight adds a fun challenge to the hula hooping experience and targets those tricky areas. I must admit; I'm addicted to it already. It's like my own personal fitness trainer right in my living room!

My mum has caught on to the hoopla too! She's been eyeing it ever since she saw my results.

In a nutshell, if you're looking for an effective, enjoyable, and slightly addictive way to tone up your core, this weighted hula hoop is the answer. It's become a staple in my fitness arsenal, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I've been wanting to try one of these weighted hula hoops for a while. I've seen people using them and getting really excited when they can remove a link because their waist has shrunk.

It comes in a box and there is a black bag to store the hoop in. It comes in three pieces and you add in however many links you need. Unfortunately, when you've added a few it doesn't fit in the bag without taking some out again but that's not much of a problem.

I checked the size of the hoop before I ordered and it said it fits up to a 50in waist. I measured myself and concluded it was plenty big enough. However, when it came I could only just fasten the hoop with all the provided links and it was quite uncomfortable to do so. I was able to buy an extra link from the Desire Deluxe store for an excellent price and it arrived quickly - shame the extra links aren't available on ��غ�� though.

So once it's all fitted together with the weighted bit in place you fasten it around your waist and start spinning it around. I am finding I need to set it off with my hand and then turn a few times and it's not long until the weight drops and I have to do that again. I think I just need to find the right technique but at the moment I'm throwing myself around in a very odd fashion!

I do like this hoop though and it's a good price for it. I just need to work out how to keep the weight turning.

I’ve had one of these before, so this one seemed a better design and quality that the previous one so I got it. I have to say I’m not impressed. Firstly, I am a standard size 16 and this only just fit my waist fully extended. There’s no guidance re helping the weight run smoothly, so I tried it both ways but basically this is the main problem. I absolutely could not get the weight to run around the whole circumference. It stopped every time, catching on the parts. So I’m afraid this doesn’t seem great at all.

Very disappointing. I tried out this weighted hula hoop for the first time and was using it for 3 minutes managing to keep going without any trouble. Unfortunately the plastic levers on either side of the fastening clasps then dislodged as the metal pins holding them in place fell on the floor. This had the immediate effect of distorting the hoop when then got stuck. Looking closely as the clasps, there is nothing to keep the pins in place so when the hoop is being used the movement seems to cause the pins to fall out.

The hula hoop is advertised as being suitable for up to a 54" waist and although I have the correct number of pieces (24) it is only big enough for approximately a maximum waist of 36-38". I regret having to give a 1* review but this is due to the pins. This may be due that the holes for the pins were a little big on my one.

On the positive side the rotating ball is good and feels just the right weight for a decent work out. The hoop comes with a useful storage bag. It is very well packaged and presented and could make a nice gift for someone looking to keep fit if the pins stayed in place.

UPDATE: I have managed to find a solution for the pins. I moulded some small pieces of air dry clay and glued them over the pins on either side. The pins no longer fall out when using.

This smart Hula Hoop Ring is great.

It is weighted and has more impact on your body as a normal one.

It's a smart hoop as it's the other way round.

You circulate a weight around your waist in a track and get stimulation on your middle body.

The radius of the weight is much smaller than with a traditional Hula Hoop and the Hoop cannot fall down.

It is a smart solution and you get a similar exercise than with a traditional hoop.

The downside is the noise. With a normal Hula Hoop you only get the noise of the Hoop on your body and possibly when it falls down.

With the smart hoop you'll get quite a bit of more noise as the end of the weighted part is moving through the parts around your body.

It is noisier, I have to say.

But in my opinion the noise is bearable and the exercise is more important to me.

I am very happy with this product and I gladly recommend it to you.
