    Having love the other Dispicable Me films I was a left disappointed by this one. It was as if they had tried to cram every single rejected idea from previous Gru and Minions films into the one movie, and consequently none of the ideas were given the space to breathe. There was no narrative nuance or emotional intelligence to it - yes I know it's a kids film but 1) adults watch it too and 2) don't underestimate kids. Still some laughs here and there, but on the whole this one fell in the age old trap of many badly made sequels in mistaking quantity for quality.
