About this item

  • Wet Use- These 100mm (4") diamond polishing pads are suitable for wet use. They are highly effective on polishing granite, marble worktops, edge dressing slabs, tiles, quartz, concrete and glass tops as well as polishing small areas.
  • Applied Machine- Angle grinder and polisher. Sufficient cold water is needed to cool down. The pad holder are with water feed hole, can be used for wet polishing.
  • Package Includes- 8PCS mixed grits polishing pads (50#,100#,200#,400#,800#,1500#,3000#,6000#), 2PCS wool pads, 1PC hook and loop backing pad (M14).
  • Kind Tips- When grinding, it needs to be polished from 50# to 6000#, and finally for a fine polishing with the wool pad. When grinding each grit, it should be smooth and thorough, otherwise it will affect the grinding effect. Optimal RPM 2200, max RPM 12000.

Polishing Step

  1. Grit such as 50#, 100#, 200# and 500# means they can be used for heavy preparation work such as stripping and deep cleaning.
  2. However, NEVER use them for polishing or sanding floors. They will leave deep scratches. Medium grit such as 800# can be used for floor scrubbing and light stripping work. It is a good transitional step between stripping and polishing.
  3. 1500#, 3000#, 6000# Grit can be used for polishing, dry polishing or daily floor cleaning, a great way to daily maintenance work. They are very fine, so they can not be used to remove scratches. Use them gradually and the scratches will be removed. The gloss level will increase.
  4. Felt polishing pads for final fineness and brightness polishing.

Note:

Materials with an existing mirror finish are not suitable for re-polishing.
