Dryzone Anti-Mould Additive is a versatile mould treatment solution designed to provide long-lasting mould resistance to paints, wallpaper paste and grouts. It ensures that surfaces are protected from mould growth for up to five years. This mould additive for paint works by incorporating mould-resistant properties into both water-based emulsion and solvent-based paints. The additive is compatible with all known finishes, including vinyl, silk, matt, gloss, and primers. Ideal for private, residential, public or commercial buildings. Dryzone Anti-Mould Additive is a colourless additive that can be easily mixed into paint or grout before application. For emulsion paints, a ratio of 20 ml per litre is recommended, while solvent-based paints require 10 ml per litre. The 20 ml per litre ratio also applies to wallpaper paste and grout. Once mixed, the anti-mould additive helps to prevent mould from forming on walls, ceilings and surfaces prone to dampness and condensation. Always properly prepare walls before using Dryzone Anti-Mould Additive. Any existing mould must be treated with Dryzone 100 Mould Sanitiser to kill active spores before applying the additive. Lightly sand glossy surfaces and use appropriate primers for new or porous surfaces. The additive should be fully dispersed into the paint, wallpaper paste or grout for at least one minute before use. Once applied, the mould-resistant finish should not be over-coated or wallpapered over. This anti-mould solution is an ideal wall mould treatment for use in high-humidity areas, such as kitchens and bathrooms, where high levels of condensation leads to mould growth. By using this mould treatment for walls in combination with quality anti-mould paints, a mould-resistant environment is easily achievable.
