Bought this for my chrome mokka pot that doers not have large enough base to activate my induction hob rings, it aslo would allow a small pan to fit on it to boil. It came witha two pin plug fitted as I expected, but also as a surprise ina greay bag came a multi travel adapter . Only used number 3 setting to boil my coffee pot then reduced it to number 2 setting, perfect boiling time for my coffee pot. Aslo at only 500 watts is going to be efficient rather than using the hob. Its well made metal and chrome surround and is small enough to travel with. I will be also using outside, so far its great and was a great price, much more useful than induction single plates that only accept certain pans, this can be used with anything. If you you use larger saucepan care needs to be taken to balance it after stirring contents, buts its size is why I bought it.
