This extension works well and provides four USB slots as well as 13A UK sockets. There is one on/off switch that affects all outputs including USB, which I wasn't expecting, but not really a problem.

I only left out one star because I wanted to mount the sockets on a flat surface facing upwards. There are small sockets for screws on the underside to allow you to mount the device upright (90 degrees to the horizontal) but no obvious way of securing it horizontally. I managed it with a lash-up with external screws acting as pegs to keep the thing in place. Works fine, but doesn't look too professional.
